What is the IIHS top safety TSP+?

If a vehicle has good scores in all six IIHS crash-worthiness assessments, it is nominated for the Top Safety Pick+ award from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety. The driver’s side small overlap front, passenger’s side small overlap front, moderate overlap front, side roof strength, and head restraint tests are all included.

These vehicles must also have a front crash prevention system that receives advanced or superior ratings in both vehicle-to-vehicle and vehicle-to-pedestrian tests. Furthermore, all trim levels of the car must have decent or adequate headlights as standard.
