What to do with my Hyundai vehicle when the lease is about to expire?
If you have a Hyundai whose lease is about to expire, you can do one of three things- keep it, upgrade to a new one or just turn it in. In all three cases, it is important to assess your vehicle and see exactly what the condition of your vehicle is. Check for the following things-
- Exterior dents and scratches (longer than 4-inches)
- Paint chip offs (larger than 0.5-inches)
- Tire tread depth (should be more than 1/8th of an inch)
- Wheel scratches, warping and cracks
- Chipping, spidering or cracks on the window glass
- Peeling bubbling and scratches on the window tint
- Burns, cuts, stains, or holes in the upholstery
After performing this thorough assessment, once you are sure everything is in place or has been fixed, you are ready to return the vehicle. Ensure that you have removed all personal belongings from the vehicle and all the keys, owner’s manual, license plate, and all other spare parts are in the vehicle.
You can now hand over the vehicle after completing the odometer disclosure statement and get a receipt. The end-of-term invoice will summarize all of the lease information and charges.
That’s it. It is as simple as this to return your leased vehicle. Are you ready to return your old Hyundai vehicle? Schedule a turn-in appointment with us at Cocoa Hyundai in Cocoa, FL today or contact us for further information. Keep following our blog for more such tips and tricks!
