Fall is upon us, which means it’s time for all of the great activities that come with the season. Chiefly, that means it’s time to find some pumpkins. There aren’t a ton of patches in the Cocoa FL area, but there are a couple that we would certainly recommend if you’re looking to get yourself some pumpkins or just go have an autumn-themed, fun-filled day. Check them out below!
Ever After Farms
For most of the year, Ever After Farms operates as a destination for rustic barn wedding venues and a u-pick blueberry farm; however, for a few weekends during the fall, the 4455 Dixie Way location in Mims becomes home to their Fall Festival. The Fall Festival includes a u-pick pumpkin patch, a corn maze, hayrides, a petting zoo and plenty other activities & games making it a fun destination for the whole family. Entry into the festival costs just $5 per person (ages 1 and under get in free), including most of the activities. Prices for food, drinks and take-home pumpkins vary, but the petting zoo is an additional $5. The festival runs from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. both Saturday and Sunday on the weekends of Oct. 12th, Oct. 19th, Oct. 26th and Nov. 2nd.
Another option in the area is Partin Ranch, which will reopen for the autumn season on October 12th. It runs the same days and weekends as Ever After Farms, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. (with last tickets being sold at 4 p.m.). Tickets are $10 per person aged 3 and up, or a season pass can be purchased for $20. Price of admission includes access to two different corn mazes, a barrel train ride, a hayride, a kiddie zip line, a corn box and many other games and play areas. Additional prices can be paid for food, drinks, pumpkins, Combine Harvester Rides, Corn Ball Cannon, Pony Rides and Butterfly Dan’s. Check out their website for additional information on activities and discounts.
We hope you enjoy the autumn season and have plenty of fun, whether at one of these pumpkin patches or somewhere different!
