While the brand’s focus has been on utility vehicles lately, Hyundai has been on an overarching spree of introducing new vehicles for the past several years, and before they turned to crossovers it included sedans as well, like the Ioniq hybrid sedan. Advantages of the 2019 Ioniq

The Prius does fire back by being slightly more efficient through the city, but again, one mile per gallon… hardly an advantage. However, the third row highlights the fact that the Ioniq far surpasses the Prius in highway efficiency, getting an extra six miles to the gallon. The Prius’s answer? Just an extra 0.9 cubic feet of cargo capacity. Maybe enough for an extra grocery bag or suitcase.
