Can you guess which vehicle has been around the longest when it comes to the Hyundai lineup? Seeing as this is a page about a specific model, that kind of makes the guessing a bit easier… but you guessed it! The Hyundai Sonata has been on the lineup since 1985, making it the oldest model still being manufactured by the brand today. We’re incredibly excited to offer the iconic 2019 Hyundai Sonata in Cocoa FL.
Since the Sonata was introduced over three decades ago, it’s undergone seven generational redesigns. The most recent of these redesigns occurred back in 2015, but the seventh-generation Sonata has already undergone a facelift back in 2017. We imagine an all-new Sonata is just around the corner, but until then the current generation model has more than enough in store to make it a great option in the midsize sedan segment.
In the middle of the 2018 model year, Hyundai shifted around the trim levels and what was available on them, creating several + labeled trim levels. While the 2019 model year has dropped the extra character on the trim level names, the changes have stuck. For instance, the SEL and Sport trim levels are now equipped with a sport mesh grille and front fascia, dual-automatic temperature control, rear floor vents mounted to the console, Qi wireless charging, a heated steering wheel and even an automatic driver’s window.
While that’s just one pair of trim levels, there were plenty of other shifts to get excited about. Nothing is quite as excited as the Sonata’s powertrain, though. It offers a surprising blend of power and efficiency delivering the perfect driving experience for driving here in the Cocoa area. Its 2.4L 4-cylinder engine generates 185 horsepower while achieving 29 miles per gallon combined fuel efficiency. If you’d like to learn more about the Sonata, don’t hesitate to give the rest of our website a once over or call us here at the sales desk.
