2019 Hyundai Tucson vs 2019 Toyota RAV4

Although the Hyundai utility vehicle lineup has been going through a massive revolution over the past few years, the Tucson has remained largely unchanged. It did receive a minor facelift for the 2019 model year, but nothing like the other redesigns or brand-new models on the lineup. That doesn’t make it any less of an exciting option from the brand, and we wanted to prove it by pitting it against one of the most popular compact crossovers on the market as a whole, if not the To do this, we pit the 2019 Hyundai Tucson vs 2019 Toyota RAV4 in a side by side comparison. The RAV4 has had 2½ decades to perfect its formula while the Tucson has only had 1½, and the RAV4 was just totally overhauled for the new model year. It was a stiff competition, but let’s see how they differ.

Advantages of the 2019 Tucson

Admittedly, many of the specifications we normally look at in these comparisons went in favor of the RAV4. It’s more powerful, more efficient, even offers more cargo space. However, the cabin is more spacious for passengers. Despite offering the same number of seats, as evidence in row two, the Tucson does deliver more space for them to stretch out and get comfortable in, shown in the first row to be 3 extra cubic feet. There is much more to a vehicle than just its specifications, though. The Tucson has its own unique style and is packed with incredible content. It contains many of the Hyundai SmartSense safety technologies, comparable to RAV4’s standard Toyota Safety Sense package. The one thing that Toyota simply cannot compete with Hyundai on is its incredible warrant. The basic warrant alone offers far more time for you to get problems checked out. To be more specific, an extra 2 years or 24,000 miles. If you think you’d be interested in a 2019 Hyundai Tucson of your own, be sure to get in touch with us right away here at Cocoa Hyundai.
