2020 Hyundai Kona Cocoa FL

We’re not exactly overstating things when we say the Kona has quickly become one of the most popular crossover utility vehicles on the market. The now-three-year-old vehicle took the subcompact crossover segment by storm when it was introduced for the 2018 model year, and last year the crossover won the 2019 North American Utility Vehicle of the Year award. Now, the 2020 Hyundai Kona in Cocoa FL looks to continue building upon its already impressive legacy. The Hyundai Kona was first introduced in the summer of 2017, before its production model made its debut later that year. It didn’t take long for Hyundai to pick up on the excitement surrounding the SUV, and they introduced it pretty quickly for the 2018 model year. Now it has an electric version (currently unavailable in Florida, but we’re keeping our fingers crossed) and a bright future ahead of it!

What’s new in the 2020 Kona?

The young vehicle doesn’t need to begin changing too much as its clearly doing plenty right, being the first subcompact crossover ever to win the prestigious North American Utility Vehicle of the Year award. Even still, the Kona did undergo some subtle enhancements. For starters, the Limited trim level and above can be equipped with orange interior accents in certain exterior color options, which is a nice and exciting bonus customization option, something everybody loves. In addition, a few features have been repackaged for the new model year. Smart Cruise Control was not available at all in the 2019 Kona, but it is now standard on the Ultimate trim level. Last year, the 4.2” multi-information display in the instrument cluster and the wireless device charging system were only available on the Ultimate trim level, but now they’ll come standard on SEL Plus and above. Furthermore, the Limited and above trim levels’ auto-dimming rearview mirror with HomeLink gets bumped down to SEL Plus as well. One final note, both the Iron man Edition and SEL w/ Tech Package trim levels have been discontinued for the 2020 model year. If you think a Kona is the right crossover for you, don’t hesitate to give us a call here at Cocoa Hyundai!
